(5 pp) According to the concept of "positivism"
another phrase for Hum'e's train of thought, he
believed that if you could think about something
you had the ability to know it. Hume was
convinced that there were two different ways and
means by which to approach philosophy and he argued
that each had its own peculiar merit, and may
contribute to the entertainment, instruction, and
reformation of mankind.
